OmniSync: your calendar in the Mac menu bar

OmniSync is a macOS menu bar app that shows your upcoming Google Calendar meetings and keeps your Slack status up to date based on your calendar and working hours.

What OmniSync does

• Shows your next meeting in the macOS menu bar, with a button to join it on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
• Sets your Slack status automatically: in a meeting, at lunch, focusing, out of office or outside working hours.
• Lets you start one-click activities (Focus, Coffee, Break) that show up as your Slack status.
• Creates events on your calendar when you ask it to, and keeps a recurring lunch block on your calendar if you turn it on.

How OmniSync uses your Google data

You sign in with your Google account. With your permission, OmniSync:

• Reads your name and email address to create your OmniSync account.
• Reads your Google Calendar events (from yesterday to 7 days ahead) to show them in the app and to decide your Slack status. Event titles and details are never sent to Slack.
• Creates or changes events only on calendars you own, and only when you ask: a new event from the app, or your lunch block.

OmniSync does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details are in the privacy policy.
